And you live yours ignorant of this.

All I ever wanted was to make you smile,
My name a whisper on your lips.

I think of all that could've been
Then sadly carry on.

I live days and opportunities
gone by repeatedly in my mind.
Next time may never come.

I 'm kind of proud of where this is going. I have a LONG way to go before I can do this with any sense of comfort or ease. How do you DO it Rico?!

Thanks Timo! I wish I had a better resolution pic and a little more time and skill to do it some REAL justice.

Goodness. This military thing has got me all rusty again. And my bamboo isn't working . . . pity me.

That is a very awesome piece.
It's very loose and atmospheric. A lot of freedom in the composition as well.
You also used some very understated colors which gives it a rustic element.

You got just was I was going for. I went a little looser because, being a sketch, the line art is very loose. I went with a earth tone color palette to convey the dustiness of the wild west and finally I wanted to see if I could make it look like the sun was hanging high. I'm mostly satisfied with how this experiment turned out. I might revisit it if Dario uploads a hi-res pic.
